Editing in Progress

After filming the start of our trailer then we uploaded our footage to the editing software we was using IMOVIE.

Here is few screen shots of the process of the trailer being edited

Production Planning Timetable

The software we used called Celtx  it helps with writing scripts t it also has a planning calendar that allows you to plan ahead of what we are going to film on a certain day and the time. This is going to used as a way of keeping the group informed and update , hopefully it will help us keep up to date   This is used to keep the team organised and also remind us of what we are going to film on certain days.

Top Ten Facebook Page

Our group decide to make a Facebook page for our Top Ten Trailer. we did this so we could gather feedback from market research about our ideas for our trailer. Social Networking is a great way for us to reach out to our target audience It  heightens our digital promotion strategy for our trailer. It’s a way of getting our trailer seen by many people. This is how most film productions companies promote their films and ideas. It creates a synergy around the target audience.
Social Networking is very popular and is modern and this is away of keeping our production company up with the 21st century also by having a Facebook page it keeps our audience in the loop so they will feel excited about the movie.

We will use this FB page to show off some of our production of our trailer and bloopers that happen while filming this is to show the target audience 'behind the scenes' of TOP TEN.

whats going on behide the scenes:Top Ten Trailer

Here are a few pictures of how and where the trailer is being filmed.
The pictures are showing who is the director of the particular scene and who is acting at that moment.

Sheneka was directing this scene in our chosen location.

This scene we were shooting was where we were trying to portray Sinead(Protagonist) as a popular it girl.

Inspiration shots 'The StepFather

Trailers are supposed to be very short and you have to get through a lot in a short space of time. one thing that can get you to fit a lot in but also  create an atmosphere is the use of a fast Montage.

Here's a Montage from The StepFather that gives us many ideas, this is an example of how you can use the Montage effect.
In order to create a certain atmosphere also the close up/medium and establishing shots used to show confinement/ awkwardness/ vulnerability and tense.
